Finally finished. It's a beautiful album.
It's not as immediately accessible or 'pop' as
Channel Orange, but it's an experience worthy of critical acclaim.
It's messy, erratic, honest, methodical, patient and so profoundly queer, all at the same time.
It's a piece of work that include some jaw-dropping moments like the arrangement of
White Ferrari, his vocals in
Solo and a truly heartbreaking verse in
Close to You.
