Normally, Lightsy (my love :smitten) would be the #1 reason for me to get excited about an update. Hell, La Roux would get that treatment sometimes, too. But then, appearing out of thin air is "Reflektor"! My goodness, "Reflektor". One of the best songs of last year by any conceivable measure, and the only song that I can think of from last year that seriously challenged "Get Lucky" as my favorite single. If the rest of the album had been as good as "Reflektor", there would have been nothing of me left, for I would have experienced Valhalla.

I really like the anthemic feel of Centuries, wait is that even a word?

Pills N Potions sounds so refreshing from the usual stuff that Nicki makes.

I felt the same way with Tennis Court, although I would have preferred The Love Club or A World Alone to be the third single from Pure Heroine.

Chocolate is so old but I still love it.

I only got into this song right at the end of 2013. It's quite a grower. At first you may think that the understated production is kinda boring, but I love that the song grows and climaxes at the last chorus. It just feels like a dark and haunting song which is cool.

Another Icona Pop song appears. This is also such a guilty pleasure too. It's relatively different from their usual stuff. This song is a bit slower and almost feels like a dancey ballad. it's great to have some dance tracks with a little more emotion.

Also, the video is very interesting, as Lily makes fun of herself extensively, even to the extent of saying she has a baggy kitty kat. Oh and there's twerking.

As shown by my review, I didn't really like this song a lot when it came out. It felt very mediocre and strange, especially how I thought she's doing serious hip-hop music this time. The turning point was during the VMAs I believe, and it occurred to me that the song was actually really catchy. And now I can rap this whole thing.

This is one of my random discoveries. It's a really nice song. It has a nice chill feeling and the chorus is so anthemic. While the line "hell yeah I just got paid" sounds a bit corny, it's a nice anthem to celebrate the weekends with.

When the song came out on the album, I wasn't too impressed with it. The chorus is cool (though it is quite like Dark Horse) but it feels like everything else is a bit too mellow. And the song doesn't have much of a structure other than chorus-verse-chorus-verse-chorus. But it grew on me eventually, especially after I found out that the bass in the post-chorus goes so HARD.

But anyways this song is a catchy lil country song which can be enjoyed by anyone.

I didn't fall in love with this song when I first heard it. The "oohs" and "aahs" in the chorus were kinda weird and annoying. They still are, to a lesser extent though. But I eventually appreciated her voice and talent and the whole vibe of the song. The video is great too and she's just one talented lady.

- Amaloner's favourite artist makes her first appearance!
- This song has supposedly the worst video of 2014.
- The lead single from this band who has already had many albums.
