Now Drip, we all know that an internet reality show holds far more importance than someone having a baby, like let's be real. Where are your priorities at?

Welcome Homosexual's and Anna to another exciting round of The Duel. Two long weeks ago we had you guys in our biggest challenge yet, teaming up with one another in the Create An Era challenge. Kavish, for certain reason's had to leave The Duel leaving his partner Adam, stranded. Adam has been recovered and is nursing back to health.
This week you guys will be getting a score out of 20 and the losing team, will be sent to The Duel.
Also, since Collin was away on business, we will have a GUEST JUDGE this week! Please give a big thanks to....
Kitt!!
Thank you so much for you help this week It was much appreciated!
THE RATES:
Team Villion

Creativity: Its not bad, but it's not great either. You get what I mean? The overall layout is probably the stand out, but the single covers are pretty, meh. Specially for someone like Nicki.
3/5
Tracklist: The Pop half looks like an EP more then another part of the album, I would have liked to see more blending from both parts of hers and there are some great tracks on The Re-Up that could have blended as a good transition from going Rap to Pop like "I'M Legit" or even "The Boys", you two had a HUGE selection of songs to choose from, probably more then any other group. I wished it could have done more. Although, I give you applause for taking the un-needed 1000 features!
3.5/5
Singles: I love that you guys went from Pop to Rap catering to both her fans! Something I would have loved for her to do! But why Va Va Voom ? I LOVE that you guys ended it with High School though! You guys obviously picked them very well
4.5/5
Music Video: NOT A GHETTO BBQ probably the best part of your entry, the music videos are creative, joyful, and are full of character and life. Good job!

Ah, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. Whew! You guys got your hands full with this one. And being a stan who had to undergo the backlash of this era, I don't know whether to give some slack or expect you to step it up. EDIT: Sorry to hear that this challenge all mainly your effort, Dillon.
CREATIVITY - 3
Post Wise.
Simple. Consistent. Not bad. Would have really benefitted from some other formatting instead of just centering literally everything, but it's not bad.
Art.
*sigh* I realize we're not all Photoshop experts, but you could have worked around it. PF:RR's album and single cover's got a lot of **** from being too messy to a no effort at all. You stuck with the theme of the album's original single and album artwork, so that's always commendable, but you know what I would have did? Being that you decided to go ahead and group together the Re-Up's tracklist, I would have taken advantage of any artwork, screencaps, and photoshooots from that "era" as well. Blending what we've gotten thus far from TRU would've found a happy medium.
TRACKLIST - 3.5
Kudos for transforming it into a 2-disc set and including some Re-Up tracks. I know this was an option many fans and listeners wanted after it's release, so it's nice you two took advantage of that idea. And double kudos for eliminating Jeezy off Champion.
SINGLES - 4
Just realized you never stated a release date for the album.
Busting out with Starships straight off the bat is a nice choice. The rough genre transition was flawed because she dangled the all urban idea (Stupid Hoe, Roman In Moscow, Roman Holiday performance, etc) and out of nowhere hit us with this. Eliminating that by going straight to Starships is a smart choice in the end.
MUSIC VIDEOS - 3.5
Nice. Once again, stuck to the original theme overall, but this time it works. AS MUCH as I'd have liked to see your imaginations run wild in this area, Nicki did deliver with the videos quality (sans Starships & Va Va Voom) and quantity wise.

Nicki Minaj Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded Comments:
I liked the spliting of the Pop music versus the Rap music
Singles:
Starships: I am actually indifferent to the lead single to Va Va Voom. Firstly this really pushes Nicki into a Pop music direction mainstream wise and places her more hip hop music to the side until april. But anyway I’m going with that choice single as I evaluate
Beez In the Trap: based on the impacts of Starship, irl Beez In the Trap was overshadowed by Starships. Anyway I believe this could have done well if the next single was the lead single
Va Va Voom: This song has similar crossover to Super Bass imo. Its poppy but it also could have carried her cross hip hop and pop fans into this era which starships separated her fans.
High School - I would have loved to hear this on urban radio tbh. I mean I heard the song for the first time when doing this judging. It actually could have worked.
Overall, I liked the songs that were picked for singles, but order is something I would have changed. I think “Va Va Voom, Beez In The Trap, Starships, then High School” would have succeeded the most and given this era some walking grounds. With Starships so powerful, people actually placed Hip hop Nicki aside of Pop Nicki which is what hurt the era imo.
Videos: I think the themes given from your descriptions worked perfectly with the songs itself. A similar “Take It Off” video for Va Va Voom, great. If Va Va Voom were the lead single, it probably would have gone with a different video. But that’s all I have to say. Great selection given this order.
Um that’s All I got to say since idk how the work was split

Creative – 5/5. I loved the cover art. Being a Nicki stan myself, I hated with a passion the original standard cover art, specially after I saw the rest of the photoshoot which had a lot of potential. Great job you guys!
Music Video – 4.5/5. Loved how you took the original concepts of the actual videos and gave it your own twist… for the BETTER. The tackiness on the original Starships video was blown away by your concept. The VVV video concept sounds great also!! The ghetto BBQ thing though.
Singles – 3.5/5. Loved that Starships/BITT release, and the follow-ups, but I would’ve liked PTA or Whip It are some point of your single plan release.
Track list. – 5/5. Solid. The dual disc concept is great, and with TRU tracks it makes Nicki’s Urban side a stronger one.

Creativty: Wow, Wow, Wow, Wow, WOW! I didn't even think about a back cover! That was a great touch, the cover arts are FLAWLESS, and the overall layout is flawless as well, the only thing I can pick at is the track list being in a collapse tag, but its not a big deal, and I'm just doing it cause I have to critique something
5/5
Tracklist: Great improvement, this flows together so well, but I sort of stop playing after You and I, The Queen was always for me, but either way the inclusion of it at the end probably saved you guys from a lower score. I like this much more then the original track list!
4.5/5
Single: YES! I love these single choices, specially adding Scheiße, probably my favorite thing about it. That is such a flawless track I can't believe she snubbed it. Also putting Marry The Night second and Hair last. It just flows like water.
5/5
Music Videos: So flawless I just can't even

Lady Gaga Born This Way comments:
I feel as though for the first 2 singles y'all chose video concepts and the song wise were excellent.
Then came ScheiBe. I guess I'm taking my mind in the aspect of 2011 again and thinking after 2 dance-pop dominant songs, i wouldn't be so interested in another dance song from Gaga in any form. I find the 3rd single to be a dealbreaker for an album to having a lasting form. Ex. P!nk- Just Give Me A Reason, Katy Perry- Firework, Beyonce- Irreplaceable, Nelly Furtado - Say It Right. What I felt the 3rd single for me was similar to slowing down the era in general: Carly Rae Jepsen - Tonight I’m Getting Over You, LMFAO - Sorry for Party Rocking, Leona Lewis - I Will Be. Now if these were country albums this wouldn’t be a problem :too funny: I just think a minor shift/style in the music wouldn’t be a bad idea like Edge of Glory or Hair being the third single. I just would have liked a different 3rd single is all.
Videos: Born This Way: Perfect IMO, the song message and self empowerment meshing how it should
Marry The Night: I like the idea of a young girl and Gaga being like that girl not to give up. I almost for the song itself, since this was about getting turned down by LA Reid, I think the video should be more of taking aspects of hard times and for this song to have people in the video come together and embrace the “night”. I think this aspects could have included gaga’s situation as an option as you wanted to include her having this problem too in the video.
ScheiBe: I like the vampire aspect to it. But if there is actual scenes of “killing” The ending goes well with the theme though
Hair: I can be a bit confused. First of all can Gaga play a teenager still? Going along with it, it’s a cute plotline. I think a video like Jessie J’s “Who’s Laughing Now” or Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger” could have worked better. Maybe Gaga should have pulled a Jessie J and shaved her hair off and donated it
Efforts:
Bonhomie: I noticed the tinting of the singles covers after reading your thing
I’m not sure if I would have used the album cover personally instead of using Lady Gaga’s moneymaker (besides her voice), her face.
TheSeenScene: I’m content with the track listing to state one thing about the videos, some of the involvement for Gaga to have for the songs I wasn’t sure if they could truly involve Gaga to the extent in which you were stating. I could see myself watching BTW years down the line and be okay if it was called a “gay anthem” Your great with running with a theme, I just would have liked an aspect of a bigger picture is all
Creative: 5/5

Creative – 2.5/5. The creativeness on this one is really underwhelming. Considering Gaga’s photoshoots you could’ve done wonders.
Music Video – 4.5/5. The BTW video is your typical Gaga cliché we’re all equal video, but the Scheisse video concept makes it up for it. The human-vampire thing is clever and witty. Great!!
Singles – 5/5. Flawless single release plan. This is actually how should’ve went. Judas never happening, Scheisse in the summer, Hair closing the era. Everything was great. Nicely done both of you!!
Track list. – 3/5. Not really a fan of the bonus tracks or Americano. I’d rather have Government Hooker instead of any of those mess tracks. HML at the top of the tracklist is genius though.

Creative: This is cute, part of it ends up looking like a bad commercial, but I like that you guys did some things that I didn't even ask, and I can't say much about the single covers because I mean, her photoshoots , but overall its really nice, I would have liked to see more formatting and a little more organized.
4/5
Tracklist: WHERE IS BIRDS OF PRAY? Little Dreamer? Elastic Love ? It still ends up sounding like a big mess I feel like you guys could have just done so much better on this and taken the sound to a whole new level. 16 tracks was not needed, and there could have been way more edits done.
2.5/5
Singles: GLAM AS THE FIRST SINGLE LIKE , great choice for a first single! Its different, and so cute and perfect for her return. Also I am gagging over Bionic and WooHoo as the 3rd and Fourth single as well. It shows off such a nice change in Christina. Not a big fan of You Lost Me, I love the song, but I always felt like it'd be a better album track. Overall this is great, and I wished she would have followed this plan.
5/5
Music Videos: Great descriptions, very Christina and very different. I love how the first two videos intertwine with each other. Overall my favorite part of your entry was focusing on the total package of her era, and really selling it and staying true to it, best part of your entry. Even if your collapse tags did not work

Zune:
Let me first start by saying this would be the harder eras to attempt to redo. I mean its infamous on atrl for solely that reason Secondly I don’t think based on what your singles portray, in terms of names, the album should not have been called bionic as a whole at all. Not your guys fault, just RCA I guess :Michael:
Single choices:
Glam- good in it being more under the radar then Xtina is used to, but in terms of what songs their were on the album, to even get the era moving in general this can work, but if it can last in the top 20 for like 4-5 weeks minimum.
You Lost Me - If this doesn’t become like how “Just A Fool” is now, and considering ballads are a great time to be sent out in the winter season, perfect second choice single
WooHoo - after You Lost Me. But considering the change in pace ala Beautiful to Can’t Hold Us Down, ideally it can work
Bionic- Self titled tracks typically do well IMO or have the potential to, that’s all based on how the era turns out, but good placing
Honestly I like the 4 singles in the order that they are in order for this era to succeed potentially the most. The sad part is yes You Lost Me is a great song not to have as a single, but from the other 3 singles, it simply doesn’t belong. I kept thinking “oh what about Bionic, WooHoo, You Lost Me, and then Glam” I just found working around You Lost Me, although it’s a great song, it might have been better if it didn’t make it as part of these other singles L
Oh just to mention: I liked the countdown material, it’s a good perview and gets people interested into the album.
Videos:
Glam- For this being the era of Bionic and yet being Glamorous, I mean the fembots awesome
You Lost Me- I like this story line, and it really embraces Glam’s story. Excellent
Woo Hoo- I like the theme of this very much since it takes on what Xtina did with Kim about 10 years before, plus considering the beef Nicki and Kim have had, it would be great to have something reminiscent. Plus I mean the song itself is very straight to the point
Bionic- I mean sure have an experimental video operation, works well with the theme, I’m just personally not as into it. Xtina to me seems like an artist who sings about things as opposed to handing a trend into the mainstream. I mean besides her singing about self-powerment songs in the past, what else has she done to start a trend it would be interesting to see though
boyonce: you did the best with what you were given for the singles which is awesome. The videos, at least the first two were good. The fourth video I wasn’t sure if it can be done without some sort of backlash of Xtina being called out in more of a “wannabe cool” as opposed to it hitting a trend.
Zaid: I liked the Glam, You Lost Me, and kind of the Bionic singles covers. For the woohoo cover it looked rather vain, but I think you used it because the light coming from Xtina’s _____
The track listing is a little bit all over the place. I guess I don’t understand the overall message of the album but it seems too mixed around, which is the origins of my confusion.
Creativity: 5/5
Music Videos: 4/5
Singles: 5/5

Creative – 4.5/5. – I’m not precisely of Christina’s team creative input on this whole era, specially on the font, not bad, but not impressed. I’ll give you extra points for the tweets and the whole iTunes Countdown idea, I thought it was very creative and clever! The WooHoo cover is particularly good!!
Music Video 5/5. Probably your strongest point of the task. The videos fit perfectly with the whole Bionic era theme. I particularly enjoyed the Glam – YLM video concept. Excellent!
Singles – 3.5/5. I know it’s really hard for you to do great things with the songs on Bionic, but Glam as a first single would definetely falter. YLM and Woohoo as follow-ups are great though!
Track list. – 3/5. Same as the single release plan, meh. There’s not enough material.

I have tabulated your results and added up each judges overall scores, the team with the highest overall score will be the winner of this challenge. These scores were all VERY close and you all should be proud of yourselves for doing so well.
The winner of this challenge is...........................
TEAM THEBORNSCENE
Congrats, you two have beaten the other two teams with 70/80, congratulations on your victory, you two will both gain immunity, and the final immunity for the game. Your overall team work is what won you this challenge. You two should be very proud.
The other two teams...
Team Villon and Team Boyacademy, you two actually tied for last place, both getting a score of 66/80. I really thought one of you teams would end up with a lower score, but apparently things have changed, in a plot twist, Team TheBornScene will chose which one of you teams will go into the Duel, and which one of you teams will remain safe.
Good luck too all four of you.

how did this go to a tie
but maybe since one judge is a nicki fan, I guess I'm shouldn't be surprised
and how was no one a fan of Va Va Voom, wanting Whip It and Pound The Alarm
