I liked your comment for me better also
Anyway:
Love The Internet and Wildheart
Yes at all this surprising and welcome R&B love.
sultryground's era is upon us
To Pimp A Butterfly, the best album nobody wanted to actually listen to
I love the difference between Purpose's placement here and his place on your most played list Looks like his future albums need better purpose

You better not come for the flawless Life Is Worth Living I think he hopped on trends a bit too much on Purpose, but it's a solid album indeed. I don't like the too R&B-oriented songs like Company.

Purpose was great..
and Rebel Heart was a great direction for her...Wildheart was a bit of a let down

Wildheart was a letdown?

Purpose was a bit disappointing, it turned out the singles were the best songs and the rest is rather mediocre/filler like. And I agree, he's way too young and lacking experience to be teaching the rest of the world about how to be a good person etc.
FROOT kinda bored me, I listened a few times and most songs sound very samey. I also got tired of how dramatic the songs are quickly. I like the Electra Heart concept better, those songs were to the point and each had their own message.

You saying that my top 5 was unexpected, but I thought it was quite predictable tho
Yeah sadly the singles were the best. But oh well, they're really good so it doesn't matter too much.
Hmmm I guess you could put it that way, they were different, but also a bit messy.

I listened to Blurryface but I can't remember Tear In My Heart
Photograph Ed is so underrated here.
Blank Space It was my #2 last year
And LMLYD
-
5 of these albums appear in my Best Of
FROOT is such a good album But it had to grow on me.
Purpose, Wildheart, TPAB

How can you not remember the catchiest song of the album
Slay!

True, but it was sort of unnecessary imo.

Idk that album
Mess @ that gif If it's at the bottom rung of the top 40, are you sure it's "love"?
"the best album nobody wanted to actually listen to"
Why? I thought it was heavily anticipated
I used his singles a lot

Vulnicura
Björk
#41 most listened album released in 2015
2014: My Everything - Ariana Grande
2013: Magna Carta... Holy Grail - Jay-Z
Best: Stonemilker
The first album I listened to released in 2015 lol. So, Bjork isn't exactly my thing, but I can totally appreciate it. It's a really heart-wrenching and emotional work of art. Björk's voice, though quirky, gives the songs an earthiness, making them feel raw. But the songs can be pretty long and difficult to get into.

1989
Ryan Adams
#38 most listened album released in 2015
2014: This Is All Yours - Alt-J
2013: Matangi - M.I.A.
Best: Welcome to New York, All You Had to Do Was Stay
Worst: Blank Space, Shake It Off
It's hard to take this seriously at first, not only cuz it's an indie rocker covering pop Taylor, but he's doing the entire album. But, it's believable at times in here, as he manages to strip down and flesh out some songs. But the songs he tries to give a twist cuz the lyrical content is totally inappropriate, it doesn't work.

Badlands
Halsey
#15 most listened album released in 2015
2014: Queen of the Clouds - Tove Lo
2013: Mechanical Bull - Kings of Leon
Best: Hold Me Down, Colors, Roman Holiday
Worst: Ghost, Coming Down
This is actually a not too bad pop album. There are a handful of songs that are harmless and fine to listen to. But of course, the problem, and her biggest problem, is that she thinks they are way more than what they are.

Beauty Behind the Madness
The Weeknd
#18 most listened album released in 2015
2014: Sucker - Charli XCX
2013: The 20/20 Experience - Justin Timberlake
Best: Often, The Hills, Prisoner, Angel
I have not listened to his previous albums, but I imagine them to be a lot less glossy and hooky than this. Overall, it's a pleasing listen that features quite a few catchy hooks. The dark theme is cool, but I'm not totally into it. Also, there aren't many really interesting moments.

Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit
Courtney Barnett
#42 most listened album released in 2015
2014: Too Bright - Perfume Genius
2013: Native - OneRepublic
Best: Elevator Operator, Depreston
This was tough to get into, cuz her talk-singing can be quite off-putting, and it was most pronounced in the lead single. But once you get past that, you'll start to really appreciate the lyrics. She takes normal daily routines and observations and describe them to make us think in a way we never thought before. Plus the rock sound really drives these points home.

BBTM
And I think Ryan's 1989 is really bad, it doesn't suit his voice nor his music at all.
