OH WE BLOODY LOVE SASSY CHERYL
What's the deal?
When Cheryl Fernandez-Versini isn't busy judging potential popstars on The X Factor (read: crying quite a lot and throwing the occasional deathstare Simon Cowell's way), she's actually a proper popstar herself. And after being a right horny sod over the summer with her saxophone-y smash Crazy Stupid Love, Cheryl's back with the second single to be lifted from Only Human; I Don't Care.
It's also worth pointing out that alongside the spoilsport radio edit there's an EXPLICIT VERSION. Oh alright, pottymouth.
Wait, this sounds just like...
Think the lovechild of some 80s Whitney Houston, vintage Kylie Minogue and a bit of Katy Perry. Cheryl actually co-wrote it with the rather amazing Bonnie McKee who's done loads of Katy's stuff, so that'd explain that one.
Best line:
'Waking up diagonal like an animal in a cold and empty bed'/'I don't care, and it feels so f**king good to say I swear.' OOF.
Worst line:
Not really a line, but the weird faux giggle at the beginning.
Chart prediction:
#1 for sure. It's gonna have a big fancypants X Factor performance, innit?

Cheryl Cole has zero *****s to give on her new single, “I Don’t Care” – the follow-up to her summer smash, “Crazy Stupid Love.” In contrast to her other songs like “Ghetto Baby,” there are no massive bass drops or an in-your-face dance theme – “I Don’t Care” is just a straight up Pop tune. In 2014′s haze of over-production, it’s actually quite refreshing!
The Girls Aloud solo star’s vocals shine as she nonchalantly tells the world, “It feels so ****ing good to say, I swear that I don’t care!” It also has an ’80s carefree vibe to it, thanks to the breezy synths and pumping bass line. The track is the lead single from Cole’s upcoming fourth LP, tentatively titled Only Human.

Muumuse
As is apparently The Thing To Do in this most interesting Only Human era, the song sounds a little bit like a demo. Mercifully though, it’s vastly more alive-sounding than the horn-heavy fart fest that was “Crazy Stupid Love”.
There’s a chunky, sort of ’80’ synth-pop kick to the song’s stomping pulse, as well as some space-age Kylie Minogue elements, especially on that heavenly bridge. The verses are nice and slick and #cool, and the chorus is a shout-along ‘chant’ for all the fellow ****s-free folks, with just the slightest hint of a twang (“OHH-oh-oh-oh, I don’t care….aw nawwww!“). British Queen Of Country.
Sure, it’s not quite as much of a dance floor stormer as “Call My Name” or “Promise This,” but in case you’re not already following along, she doesn’t care.
Whether you love it, hate it or feel largely indifferent, she don’t care. It’s going to #1, regardless.

heryl Cole has a new outlook and to support it she has released a new single titled “I Don’t Care”. This follow up single to her smashing summer hit “Crazy Stupid Love” doesn’t have traditional Cheryl-signature heavy bass or jumpy dance floor beats. “I Don’t Care” is a straightforward pop song that has actually something refreshing about it that will make you sing along when you listen this track.
“I Don’t Care” sounds really good with its breezy synths and the typical 80’s vibe. Cheryl believes that her new single will be loved by her fans since it reflects a change in her attitude. She said during an interview talking about her new single that it reflected her new sense of caring only for things that are important to care. “I still care about things, but I’ve discovered what’s important to care about, and what’s most definitely not”, she said during the interview.
This new track from Cheryl is a fun, feisty and full of life track. Listening to “I Don’t Care” can help you re-energize your brain. This new anthem is definitely going to be a major hit for the British singer and former Girls Aloud cooer.
“I Don’t Care” will be included in Cheryl Cole’s upcoming LP titled “Only Human”. This will be Sheryl’s fourth LP and one of her most anticipated albums so far.

I’ve never really cared for Cheryl Cole. Nothing against her, but British pop? Well, it wasn’t really MY pop when I was a kid. All that may change today with her disco-fied new single ‘I Don’t Care‘!
ritten by pop songwriting royalty, Bonnie Mckee, and a handful of other hit makers, Cheryl’s ‘I Don’t Care’ is an unapologetic kiss off with Cheryl letting loose and not giving a good goddamn about anything! We all know how I love a bratty anthem…
I understand Cheryl has been involved with The X Factor UK and comes from Girls Aloud fame. Being American (and personally not really into girl groups…I mean they just break up after one or two albums anyway), I never really was exposed or exposed myself to that! I also know she has an ENORMOUS tattoo and she’s somewhat Britain’s version of our dear Britney Spears.
I wasn’t too impressed with her last single, but I’ve got to say ‘I Don’t Care‘ isn’t a total travesty. It sounds like a hit to me, especially in her home country. Maybe it would do better in the summer, but from what I can see, everyone’s glad to have new Cheryl music!
