DAMN, This season is everything!

I was worried with Red because I love her, I wanted her to slay the **** out of Vee that ugly bitch. But Sister and Rosa slayed this season, Morello too. It was way more dramatic, but that season finale was EPIC! I mean i watched the whole thing and it was so fast, I wanted more!

Poor Alex But Im really happy they developed a lot of characters that weren't given the attention they deserved on S1!

Not sure if it's better than the first season but it's definitely not much worse.

Very good character developments for everyone, especially those who haven't had the chance to be focused on in the first season. A much more darker note I enjoyed even though it damped the emotional side of the show a bit.

Also it broke my heart when Piper went to Red's place and it was closed. She got waay better this season, I love her but she was great. Gloria and the golden girls slayed it too.

Girl, no. The start (first two episodes) of season 2 were so off-putting. They seemed a lot less clever, a lot more cheaper, and generally worse than most of season 1, and I almost didn't wanna finish the season. Around episode 3 or 4, it got better again and delivered throughout.

I hated Piper in season 1 starting around 4 episodes in or so, and that got me annoyed with the show for the remainder of the season. She was such an asshole, but insisted she was a good person and wouldn't take responsibility for her behavior. I liked her a lot more in season 2, because she wasn't as fake anymore.

really? I found the Chicago episode amazing, her reaction at the end of the episode when she found out the cigarettes on the cockroaches was real was a real thing was priceless and also Gloria smoking the stale cigarettes and you realise Vee had left them in there since the last time she was in prison was so clever to me But yeah I definitely agree Piper was much more likeable

I can't remember if I posted this but Morello's fake reaction to Miss Rosa stealing the van was hilarious, screaming "no stop you are going to get in trouble!!" and chasing after it had me screaming

Not me catching up with this only two days ago. I just started watching, at last. I thought "with all the shows I've seen, could the others?" but this is brilliant. Thank you Lily and ATRL for the recommendation. I'll get to season 2 soon.

Not really. If anything, you could see they had a much larger budget this season.

I think season 2 was written better, but they pretty much yanked out all the qualities the characters had in season 1.
Like Vee Ruined Taystee& Poussey, Crazy Eyes being angrier(imo) etc.

Like, Morello is SO different to me now. I never realized she was that psychotic, I always thought she was a sweetheart but eeeeeeeeeeeek. As the season continued my love for her re-grew, though. But it did take a minute.

I wonder if we'll get flashbacks for Nicky (please please please) or the spiritual yoga lady. I thought some of the ones we did get were random, like Rosa's and Cindy's but they were still cool and interesting, I'd say.

Overall, season I and II are pretty equivalent. I want to rewatch them

Crazy Eyes was angrier but only because of Vee.
I feel like the only characters who seemed different kinda were Morello and Piper.
