The writing on this show is beyond awful. Mona's motive was that she was angry at the girls for stealing Hanna but in a way "A" forced Hanna and the other girls to become close and stick together.
Because they tortured her when they were friends with Ali.
I'd like to believe so. I think Mona was just a pawn in the real A's game.

They do! I mean if they were gonna choose Mona they could have at least given a better motive than "you stole my best friend".
They know they'll still be tuning in for season 3 tho.
