ABC’s “Rising Star” averaged a 1.5 5ating/5 share in adults 18-49 and about 5 million viewers overall on the network’s stations from 9 to 11 p.m
In Nielsen’s metered-market overnights, “Rising Star” did a 5.1/9 to a 3.2/5 for “America’s Got Talent,” which regularly airs on Tuesdays.
“Rising Star” attracted 129,071 tweets on Sunday night, with ABC noting that this was more than double what “America’s Got Talent” drew when it opened its season last month (59,734) and about 30% more than this summer’s season premiere of Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” (98,888).
Well, it's evident to see this show is doing better than the US version of the X Factor and it's current competitor, America's Got Talent as I predicted.

Ratings are statistically incorrent anyway, the show got over 100k tweets on twitter alone and it was the most talked about show plus the app is currently still standing still at #1
It's okay in viewership but that demographic needs help. They need to keep trying to draw people in. This show could smash. Maybe they should try to clinch a performance by someone famous for the next show.
I think the biggest problem was that just like in 45 minutes, we only saw like 2-3 contestants sing, when it should be more. We literally had 1 person go only after each commercial.
The funny thing last night though, The app said "rest your voting finger, more to come!" but...we had only voted 4 times by the time that came up
I only watched it for Kesha but it's disappointing. The host is awful, it's like he wants the judges to feel sorry for saying no even though that's their job
