Yeah, it's got 26 episodes slated right now, but honestly they'd be fools to cut it off so quickly. It's being praised and bringing on a ton of viewers for Nick. There's so much more of Korra that could be told... I don't think 26 episodes could possibly do her and the rest of the characters justice.

Exactly, the thing is, I don't know how long they will be able to prologue the whole "Equalist" plot. Since the show was only supposed to be a mini-series they kind of "rushed" Korra's early life. (She already knew 3 of the elements by the time they found out she was the Avatar).
at every new episode being better than the one before.
