Hey guys, I'm really sorry that I cancelled my countdown. It's been an amazing ride since spring 2009 getting to do this! I promise to make it up to you with my giant year-end countdown, that I'm already planning out at this moment.
To hold you guys over, this is my current mini-playlist. I picked out a few of my favorite underrated songs of the summer and late spring, hope you like it! 
M.I.A. - XXXO
XXXO is 2010's pop gem. With the potential to blow up in America and internationally on a larger scale than Paper Planes, M.I.A. comes full force with this track. The vocals are incredible, and the beat is catchy as hell. It's unique to all the generic watered-down filter food on the radio right now and deserves more attention than it's getting. (This makes a good edition to a mall clothing store's playlist.)
Kelly Rowland - Commander
A powerful pop dance record is made by fusing the following: incredible powerhouse vocals, provided by former Destiny's Child member, Kelly Rowland, and the beats and production work of a dancefloor anthem, generated by European DJ, David Guetta. What could've been a Hot 100 smash, Commander has been running nightclubs all summer and sneaked into late night mixes on US radio, even though her label isn't taking risks this time around. A must for everyone's playlist.
Kelis - 4th of July (Fireworks)
A standout track on her latest release, Flesh Tone, 4th of July is a supersonic dance tune that gives the listener a musical euphoria. This track along with the first single, Acapella, show a strong departure from the R&B sound of her mega-hit, Milkshake.
