You seriously think Kidz In The Hall, Sum 41 (though I'd hope) and Three 6 Mafia would get that many TRL votes? I seriously don't.

One can only dream that to be true, instead Lil Wayne is an idiot and is whoring #1....he doesn't deserve to have that Lollipop video retired.

You know what that means... go on MTV.com and play Leona Lewis's Bleeding Love, Madonna's 4 Minutes, Natasha Bedingfield's Pocketful of Sunshine, and Gavin DeGraw's I'm In Love With A Girl constantly and vote for it day and night so that Lil' Wayne isn't #1. Note that at one point last week, Lil' Wayne was among the top 5 streamed at VH1.com, but has since fell to at least #15.

Lollipop is #1 for a 10th straight time.....TIME TO CANCEL THIS PIECE OF CRAP! The worst song of the year doesn't deserve this much praise.

Also, Leona was #3 and Usher was #2. The only thing good about today's TRL was Tim Kash reporting.
My Ideal Top 10 TRL:
1. Leona Lewis, Bleeding Love
2. Augustana, Sweet and Low
3. OneRepublic, Stop and Stare (which should've been on TRL's Top 10 a long time ago.)
4. Death Cab For Cutie, I Will Possess Your Heart
5. Gavin DeGraw, I'm In Love With A Girl
6. Natasha Bedingfield, Pocketful of Sunshine
7. Paramore, That's What You Get
8. Maroon 5/Rihanna, If I Never See Your Face Again
9. Flyleaf, Sorrow
10. Madonna/Justin Timberlake/Timbaland, 4 Minutes
--- On Deck ---
11. Rihanna, Take A Bow
12. 30STM, A Beautiful Lie
13. Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown, No Air
14. Against Me!, Stop
15. Atmosphere, Shoulda Known

IDEAL:
1. Natasha (easily should be #1)
2. Rihanna
3. Leona Lewis
-GAP THE SIZE OF THE SOLAR SYSTEM-
4. Chris Brown
5. Britney Spears
6. Jordin Sparks
The rest are either that I'm tired of (Mariah, Ray J, Usher) or are just abyssmal (Lil Wayne)

I Agree with the Ideal, except that in the middle 3, Jordin/Chris should be #4, Chris Brown should be #5, and Usher #6. The rest should be Mariah, Britney, Ray J., and Lil' Wayne, in that order).
NB debuted.
Not only was half the countdown horrible, but John "Idiotface" Norris reported and lied his tail off doing the news reports.
My Ideal Top 10 TRL:
1. Augustana, Sweet and Low
2. Death Cab For Cutie, I Will Possess Your Heart ( TRL needs to premiere it.)
3. OneRepublic, Stop and Stare (which should've been on TRL's Top 10 a long time ago.)
4. Natasha Bedingfield, Pocketful of Sunshine
5. Gavin DeGraw, I'm In Love With A Girl
6. Leona Lewis, Bleeding Love

9. Rihanna, Take A Bow
10. Madonna/Justin Timberlake/Timbaland, 4 Minutes

11. Flyleaf, Sorrow
12. 30STM, A Beautiful Lie
13. Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown, No Air
14. Story Of The Year, Wake Up
15. Coldplay, Violet Hill

TRL has clearly gone downhill ever since getting rid of rock like Limp Bizkit, Korn etc. and since the boy band era is over (millions of girls wouldn't miss a show for them).
Here's an idea, play some real rock on the countdown. How about some 3 Days Grace - "Never Too Late"? Do something to make me want to watch again.

TRL went downhill when they changed the format from votes-only to the new and ****** format, which favors rappers. Even the rap back 2-4 years ago is better than it is now.
Another reason TRL went downhill the past year was Damien selling out his rock ties in favor of rap.
In 2007, Linkin Park was #1 for a few days and lasted about 20-26 days or so, and I think that The Pretender by the Foos and Korn's Evolution both should've been on for at least 15-20 Days.
But the 3rd and final reason why TRL sucks now and why I never watch the show live anymore is that SuChin Pak stopped reporting the news on TRL and MTV News never fired that closeted homo known as John "Moron" Norris. Now, as a hedge against Norris, I hope that Tim Kash or Kim Stolz (I root for them both to be on TRL about every day.) report the news at least 97% of the TRLs for the rest of 2008. The firing of Pak is the reason why I seldom watch MTV or MTV2 anymore.
I agree that TRL needs to play more rock videos.
