The production alone makes this song absolutely godly .
Off of 2004’s The College Dropout, Kanye, Mos Def and Freeway drop this fast-paced track dedicated to the titular purpose: the verses are done with two words (or two stressed syllables) for every quarter-bar.
Fun fact: Two Words was also on one of his earlier mixtapes Get Well Soon from 2002.
18) Never Let Me Down (feat. JAY Z and J. Ivy)- 7.306
"Racism's still alive, they just be concealin' it"
NLMD

Found this quick lil summary of the track : A Kanye social commentary sandwich, with a dollop of inspirational J. Ivy, on a toasted Jay-Z self congratulation roll, all wrapped up in spiritual and religious elements.
Ultimately, a good place for this to leave.

These two kind of overstayed its welcome a little bit but that's fine. Better now than later.
I do like Two Words a bit more than NLMD.

I agree with Never Let Me Down. I've always liked Ye's verse but there's something about the song (maybe the production) that doesn't sit well with me

Everyone came correct on both songs! (Mos Def & J-Ivy especially)
Fine with the position tho.

The last song for this update, Get Em High is a crowd anthem, as well as a call to take a puff, Kanye, Talib, and Common each take a turn to flex their skills over this beat.

Great highlight for Never Let Me Down
"Racism's still alive, they just be concealin' it" - I love how Kanye delivers it and it's facts.
Both are really political and hard-hitting

Good spot for it. This makes me wanna play Get By from Talib Kweli (lowkey superior song)

Get 'Em High is great but the songs above it are better imo
Not here for Talib's verse but Common murdered it and Kanye flows so fine on the first verse

I'm actually surprised I gave Get Em High an 8. I don't really use it that much anymore.

Pretty good top 15. No song below a 7 made it. There's a few Kanye tracks that should leave before top 10.
