1989 was massive in Oceania, Asia, North America, UK and Latin America. Not sure about Africa.
It was big in Europe too but they are talking about charts & most European charts are now based on Spotify & streaming services (in which 1989 was not available),
Especially when most of the "global" acts step foot in Asia
