I think he means literal hyping in features/music (like "dropping my single in two weeks, TPP album a movie"), but I don't think that's fair because that's commonplace.

No, I think what Robby meant was that she released all those Soundcloud remixes and features (My Hitta remix, Danny Glover remix, Boss Ass Bitch remix, etc.) and we thought that The Pinkprint would be a hip-hop album filled with bops. The Pinkprint is obviously a hip-hop album, but it had more heartbreak-type songs than bops.

When I meant bops, I meant hip-hop/rap bops such as the type of songs she released during the Soundcloud era. GOYK, Trini Dem Girls, Anaconda, The Night Is Still Young are bops, but they're not the type of bops that she released during the Soundcloud era.

Basically this.

I just think she kind of overhyped TPP with the whole classic thing. Whether she said it or not, it was definitely perceived that TPP (given its title & Soundcloud session) would be her Hip Hop classic.

Well yeah, what I meant by album was a body of work so I wouldn't mind the mixtape to be that and only that.
I just need her to let loose after TPP. Make another Pink Friday (mood wise, topic wise but not necessarily sound wise.)
