I mean i have nothing against iggy but everybody seems to hate her for no apparent reason. So why risk flopping a great song(im pretty sure it is) just to add an iggy verse cuz there freinds.

The girl had three Top 5 Billboard songs last year. One of them stood at #1 for 7 consecutive weeks.
How is that risky? If you mean Pretty Girls, it was bound to flop because of Britney, Iggy was willing to do all the promo the song needed but as we all know Britney just isn't in this planet anymore so of course it flopped.
Iggy still can have hits and Trouble doing well in the UK and Australia is proof enough.
I actually hope she releases the Iggy collab as the final single for the album.

Then all we have to do is just hope she doesn't pull a no promo thing like she's doing so far with cfts.

The only reason PG flopped was because no promo and horrible song which were Britney's fault
All of Iggy's singles have done well here, and since they're close friends, they would do promo together if it were a single..
The song would give Demi more exposure and Iggy out there again before her music drops. So while to complain about the collab, I'll be pumped and ready because I'll know it will smash..

It's frustrating to see this song at #20 on iTunes when I'm sure a little promo could push this again to the top 15 or even top 10 if the promo was something bigger.

Btw, about Iggy... looking at her reaction after PG flopped, she seems like a working hard artist as I said once, I'm sure she would make Demi promote the song a lot but first of all, if the response to the song (if it makes the cut to D5 first) is not good, I don't think they will risk it and release it as a single.

Iggy definitely got a lot of haters out there, but she still able to get smash hit. Her controversial isn't that serious imo...?
And I still can't at Demi release this with no promo in the US... I think this is just an introduction for the D5 era. The next single is like the real lead single and she better book VMA and perform Confident. Confident better come thru soon and snatched CFTS wig

I'm sure it'll make the cut and I also think they're seeing it as a potential new single (otherwise Iggy wouldn't have tweeted about it).

I've said this a lot of times, it's my theory hahaha
CFTS was Demi's new image introduction to the world though it is the official FIRST single, it was just a quick one with an expiration date that will burn after summer ends and then they'll release the second official single. (although it would be the first)
But I don't want them to give up on this... it would be stupid to waste promo on Australia where it's not even summer and then perform Confident (or whatever the second single is) at the VMAs... I mean, why would you waste money, time and effort on promote this in Autralia then?

So we're between 2 theories one says theres no promotion and they don't know what they're doing and the seconds says they're planing to promote the album in a well taught out way.

Yeah, I agree with you, I'm sure they are planning to release it as a possible single...
I'm sure they will be stuck on twitter to see the reaction after the album is released and if everyone "hates" the Iggy song I don't think they will release it eventually
Anyway, I don't care if Iggy is on it or not, I just want the song to be good. Not here for a Who's That Boy 2.0.

If she's performing at the VMAs, she's 100% performing CFTS. With or without the second single, depending on what they decide on.
Unless CFTS starts free falling and they rush release a new single, which I'm pretty sure won't happen.

I guess it's the second one, and they''ll wait for the summer to end or CFTS to peak and then release the second single and promote the hell out of it.
Maybe they didn't plan to promote CFTS that much to save coins for the second single...

my only theory is that..the VMA's are August 30th. Basically September. SHOULD she still perform that song? Because if she really is releasing in October, she should try to release the 2nd single by then to get exposure

Watch Demi perform CFTS with the second single but not release it on iTunes until CFTS is officially done.

But August 30th is in two weeks and there's no point in performing her second single without it being released yet. They could always rush release it, but then there'd be that awkward gap between digital release and radio add date, possible 2-3 weeks apart... dunno, I don't think there a perfect solution anyway

She should perform CFTS, because the song should be at its peak on the radio and streaming. Then she should release the new single shortly after, like first half of September
My goals for this single at this point:
- top 15 on the US and Canada
- top 20 on Australia
- top 5 in the UK
- 100m+ on Spotify
I think she can achieve that

That's exactly what I want for CFTS at this point.
I need this to outpeak HWGA and GYHAB so bad...
It would be her highest song in Australia, right?
And a top 5 (or even top 10) in the UK would be AMAZING for this
