You were always my favorite, but you should've already known that.

Random and a bit off-topic, but does anyone know where I can purchase "I'm On"? I've been on a Ciara kick lately and I just cannot seem to find that song. I know it was on the deluxe edition of Fantasy Ride, but it's not on Spotify and I do not want to buy the entire album just for the song, lol.

It's an album only track. Have to buy the whole album to get it!

Only one needs a release. CI would really get the pop girls on board with that one. Should've followed up IBet sooner.

When it comes to running times R&B and rap acts really give prog rock records a run for their money. Witness Jackie - 62 minutes and 16 tracks, including two remixes of the same song.
But while Ciara is the latest to eschew the still-golden, one-side-of-a-tape rule, her sixth album is refreshingly filler free and no hot air hike from start to finish.
Behind the mammy-saluting title, Jackie is all about bragging rights, breakups and bedroom prowess, with the 29-year-old showing again and again that she has the studio presence to carry it off - her softer side only appearing on parenthood ballad I Got You towards the close.
By that stage you've heard at least another six singles-in-waiting, and smiled approvingly at the nods to jungle, Euro disco and marching bands amidst the as-expected bells and whistles.
No stone cold classic but far better than you associate with the charts these days. Mother's pride is well-founded.

Album of the Week: Ciara 'Jackie'
R&B goddess nabs Album of the Week with dynamic opus!
Ciara achieves Album of the Week with Jackie [Epic]. The R&B diva's sixth full-length offering lithely walks the line between confident, charismatic, and catchy soul and big, bombastic dance floor anthems. It's a delicate balancing act that she pulls off with continued success, once again firming up her spot at the top of the genre. She's got the likes of Dr. Luke, Harmony "H-Money" Samuels, Polow da Don, and more on board for production, and the music feels richly diverse and dynamic as a result. At the same time, there's a pronounced and potent intimacy to Jackie, named after her mother, as if we're really getting to meet her for the first time. It's incredible to have that much energy six albums deep, and Ciara makes it all seem new again.
Everything kicks off with the strut of "Jackie (B.M.F)." This one could've been a theme song for Jackie Brown in that it blends a modern dose of futurism with a timeless walk, merging a massive declaratory refrain "I'm a bad motherf***er" with a danceable crescendo. Meanwhile, the tempo shifts on the epic collaboration "That's How I'm Feeling'," which pairs her up with Pitbull and Missy Elliott. The cameos expand the sonic palette, while allowing Ciara's refrain to really shine.
"Dance We're Making Love" tempers a pomp sensibility with club-closing prowess. "All Good" really pops as it pushes forward with a propulsive swagger that hits a high point as Ciara delivers an infectious refrain in between the bright verses. Jackie also gives us the hit single "I Bet," which remains one of her most passionate anthems thus far.
It's the ballad "I Got You" that wields the most power though. Simmeringly stark piano draws back the curtains as she offers up one of her most vulnerable, vivacious, and vibrant performances ever. It's a striking and stunning moment of tenderness that comes as the perfect complement to the dance floor spark.
That's the most wonderful thing about Jackie though. It literally allows every side of Ciara the spotlight. In showcasing these multiple facets and musical personalities, it's still clear that she's one of R&B's brightest stars. Really though, it allows her to shine even brighter with her best, biggest, and boldest body of work so far.

Soooo I went to see her Saturday night at the Filmore. It was my first concert ever. And I was extremely impressed. She sounds better in person than TV does her justice. This bitch hit this high note right before I Bet started and I got all my life. She was incredible and I had so much fun and I just brought Jackie this morning.

New review from VIBE:

Review: 10 Thoughts On Ciara’s Dancer’s Delight Of An Album, ‘Jackie’
CiCi has frequently noted that her sixth album—which officially dropped on May 4, six days before the matriarch’s holiday—is her most “expressive and confident” album yet. After several listens, we now know that the ATLien tells no lies. In 10 thoughts, we pick apart the question hovering in the room once the last track ends: does Jackie have the power to actually move us (physically or otherwise)?
1. Ciara doesn’t wait to kick off the album on the highest note possible. Consider the high energy “Jackie (B.M.F.)”—the sonic lovechild between Beyonce’s “***Flawless” and pre-Yoda Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair”—an introduction to the singer’s newfound mommy confidence. Ciara snarls, jeers and pops her sh-t over Harmony’s quirky tip-toeing production, not just because she oozes sexy whenever she struts down a red carpet, but because she was the vessel for a new life. “Man, I just delivered a 9 pound, 10 ounce baby. I’m a bad motherf-cker!” she boasts on wax. Trueee.
2. As a matter of fact, confidence might as well be the running theme on Jackie, given the absence of a concrete one (more on this later). Her “feelin’ myself” levels are on 100 and her sh-t-talking game is A-1 after being a relatively quiet and humble figurehead in the music industry. It’s not just about the kind of the lyrics heard on songs like “Stuck On You” (“Margiela, Pucci, Givency/All of that fly look good on me”); it’s also about the tone in which she delivers her words. Brash, unapologetic and borderline cocky. It’s kind of refreshing.

Overall very positive! Though let's all take a moment to laugh at:

5. That harmonious “I Bet” remix with Nick Jonas on the deluxe album, though? Pure flames.
