Azarenka vs Svetlana is probably the best Quarterfinal we have, so excited for it and I will be hoping for an upset

Li vs Radwanska is another one in extremely excited for, 2nd best Quarterfinal we have. The winner will give Maria loads of trouble should Maria make the semis

Maria vs Makarova is not...exciting at all, an east win for Sharapova imo

The Aussie is a great tournament but it's the most annoying of the slams for British viewers like me, because most of the matches are being played during our night time.

Looking forward to the women's QFs, Serena and Masha are a lock for the semis.

My dark horse for the tournament is Kuznetsova - people always forget about her but she is a double slam champion and has been a top player for many years (her US Open win was 9 yrs ago!) I can see her taking out Vika.

Exactly Kuznetsova is a dangerous player and I wouldn't be surprised if she somehow won this tournament. No one expected her to win the French in 2009, or even beat Serena for that matter but she did and surprised us all. She even has a winning record against Vika, she probably has the toughest QF of them all with Aggie's QF the next hardest. This is getting good

And yeah it's tough for American viewers at almost all slams besides the US Open tbh. The morning matches at Melbourne are at OK times but the night/primetime matches start @ 3am . The French and Wimbledon are a bit better but even then it starts extremely late (or technically early at 5am) and finishes around 2pm, I don't even leave school until 3pm most days

The mens side, as usual,isn't even worth a look until the semis (apart from Stan the other night). I would LOVE Ferrer to take someone out and reach his madien Slam final. He has worked so hard over the years.

Oh and yes, Maria and Rena are LOCKS for semis. I think Kutz will make it as well. But at this point in time I can't really see the final being anyone but Masha and Rena.

I only really watch the Australian Open cause their schedule works best with mine. I'm on the west coast, so they usually start at 6pm. The primetime matches start at 12am, and even if it's top players playing in a 5 setter, they usually end at 5am, which is the usual time I go to sleep.

I don't watch Wimbledon or the French open because those don't start until really early in the morning (when I'm about to go to bed). I don't even watch the US Open cause I'm never up at 9am (when they start on the west coast) unless I have work or school.

Ha, I think I have it lucky in the east coast because the late night matches start @ 9pm over here at the US Open, it's such a blast .

The only problem was back then I was in high school watching it so at 11pm I had to turn off the TV because my parents made me, and ALL of the good matches start at 9 so I never got to see them live
