I've been over this. Lemme repost my rundown of her outfits AGAIN. The way Kim defenders simply say "she slayed and served ART!" without any either defense points. Why is her art restricted to the neck up most of the time? Why does she literally wear as many different shoes as Pearl did? Why did they say her Movie Premiere had "never been done before"? Why did she mostly wear ill-fitting, poorly-constructed, barely-inspired, bland garments with just about everything? Why is this "art" and how did this get her the title of the runway queen?

d except this ain't a proper example; that dress is rather boring (and she could have easily gotten the "blood" sewed onto one that didn't look like Katya's DESPYs in purple). And the crooked knife will never not kill it for me.

Trixie Mattel's green runway was literally on par with most of Kim's looks on season 8; literally it looks like something she'd wear (Not just because of the Asian influences; the styling, the fascinator and focus on the head, then a gown that isn't AWFUL but is not art in itself, and tied together by the fact that it's a "concept"), and yet no one's raving about that?

Someone PLEASE explain to me the difference.

If you're going to go far-out with your makeup then you need to balance your facial presence with a less wild costume.
There needs to be a focal point in a memorable look.
Otherwise you end up with hot MESSES like Acid Betty delivered for 5 weeks straight where there's details all over the place and it ends up looking like vomit.
Kim Chi stood out the most among the relatively boring S8 because of her gripping and distinct looks overall, you're one of the few who disagree.

I get the point, but nah. It's not just a "less wild costume"; the outfits are boring in themselves and are just bland or bad. She didn't even wear outfits that properly compliment her makeup; I'll agree with TOO that she did this with her B&W, but the only other time she did it was her roller girl and the rest are garbage. Acid showed you can do both (At least if you ignore her roller girl). And then Kim won two fashion challenges where her outfits were poorly-constructed and not even the best outfits there that week, so poor that. Like I said, her talent remains in the neck UP, and if that's where the focus is, it's not serving on the runway. Instagram queen it is.

But mess @ "Trixie was/is annoying"; that doesn't answer my question, that's literally on par with (if not better than) most of the things Kim gave us.
