It wasn't like that, though. Her and Safaree were on/off for most of last year, and then things took a turn for the worst around the iHeartRadio Festival when they got into a fight. Allegedly, Meek was there to comfort her, and then they tried it again (her and Safaree) but then he left and both said it wasn't working anymore.

You have to remember, Nicki was with her high school boyfriend (who she got pregnant from) for a few years, and then they broke up and Safaree was "her shoulder to cry on", and they developed a relationship.

I know what you're saying, though. Nicki wouldn't get married unless she felt it was right. Tons of celebs call off their engagement.
