Wait Your Turn (ego anthem)
Hard (ego anthem)
Stupid in Love (breakup)
Rockstar 101 (ego anthem)
Russian Roulette (dark love song)
Fire Bomb (breakup)
Rude Boy (sex song)

G4L (ego anthem)
Te Amo (lesbian/lust)
Cold Case Love (breakup)
The Last Song (breakup)
To me, that's not cohesive. WYT, Hard, R101, RB, G4L, and Te Amo sound like they come from a different CD than the rest. I'm not saying Rated R isn't amazing, because I do love it - but it's not cohesive. This album is said to be dark and edgy, when half of the songs are not.
Whereas Loud has fewer and more similar themes that relates to each other. All songs rely on sex, fun, and breakup.
S&M, WMN, Cheers, RM = sex/fun
Fading, CKB, Complicated, Man Down, LTWYL2 = breakup
Only Girl, CKB = love
