Most of the made-for-premium TV movies about gay people are, like, ten times better than cinematic movies. Almost completely given up on there being anything good (sans the few that break through).

Suicide Room is great although I wouldn't really think of it as a gay movie since the protagonist's main love interest is a girl but then again the whole idea of gay and lesbian being a movie genre is pretty dumb.
