Yeah I think we have enough demos from that time period (2001-2006) to know it doesn't really sound like her at any given point. Between Katy Hudson, The Matrix, (A) Katy Perry and Fingerprints, that is. The "it's her old raw vocals, she's matured now!!" thing doesn't really work.
She could release May if the material is good, the Dr Luke sessions for TD were mostly done after Califorgotten Gurls was released. But I don't think she will release this soon. We would probably have a hint somewhere like the flowers on her twitter layout in 2013 and whatnot.

i mean she changed her twitter bio and header isn't that a clue she already started working? kind of like back to werk. i feel like if luke didn't have any baggage or case they could just work on something unfinished & release it as a lead but thats out of the table
If she wants to work with Luke she will. The Kesha thing won't stop her. She's made it very clear she's not on Kesha's side in this at all lol. But I hope she doesn't work with him. Apart from the fact that she doesn't need to anymore, her last collab with him flopped. Even without the Kesha thing it's time to move on.
