Highlights: Into You, Focus, Dangerous Woman
Delete It Fat: Jason's Song (Gave It Away), Leave Me Lonely (ft. Macy Gray), Greedy
All in all it's a fairly solid pop album but I'm a tiny bit underwhelmed because I was expecting a lot after hearing the singles, as well as feeling the hype and seeing the general reactions from ATRL prior to my listen. The singles were the best tracks, however there was an occasional album gem here and there (Everyday, Bad Decisions) which will probably be released as singles at some point anyway. The biggest disappointment was probably the Nicki Minaj collaboration given how good their last collaborations were (Bang Bang, Get On Your Knees).
Will I listen to this album again? Yes, definitely. With hopes that some of the album tracks will grow on me more. Plus I'll always be coming back to the singles as they're all amazing. At any rate, it's a step up from 'My Everything' but in my opinion 'Yours Truly' is still Ariana's best album.
