Do you guys think that the Jean at the end of DOFP is the real one? Because thinking about the Essex reveal and it being important to this movie, I think we could see Cable coming out of OML and time travelling to Deadpool's time for D2.

Yeah i'm 100% sure thats the real Jean, i doubt they would try and do something as complicated as alternative bodies/clones etc especially across 2 or 3 films which are a decades apart. That DOFP ending as just a treat for the fans more than anything.


I like your theory about cable though could definitely bring some hype in for W3 if they link it to Deadpool.
I hope Cable has full telekinesis/techno powers as well as his futurist guns/weapons and is actually related to Jean and cyclops.

Me too. He is one of my fave male X-Men along with Gambit. They better not **** up the next movie. Kinberg promises he is going to stick close to the source material, so let us pray.

I really hope there isn't more than a 2 year gap for the 90s film. We have had 3 year gaps for X3 to origins and origins to FC

Although W2 bridged the gap between FC and DOFP so hopefully W3 & Deadpool do the same

Saw it last night for the firar time! What hit me the most was how USELESS Angel is, and how Jubilee was Done wrong.

That was 100% due to Ryan Reynolds and the people he worked with. Fox just streamlined their budget basically.

Ryan explains all this in the Blu Ray collection; that the only reason Deadpool became an actual thing was the fans sustaining interest since the test footage leak years ago. Fox was never interested in it beforehand.
