Between Splatoon, Pokemon, Super Mario Maker, Yokai Watch, Amiibo and Animal Crossing, Nintendo is doing incredibly well this year. I wouldn't be stunned if they outdid Sony in income (mostly because the PS4 was discounted, so Sony will be losing money until they get that back from increased software sales and premium memberships in 2016).

I love having the ability to play games wherever. The Wii U gamepad and the remote function of the Vita were great.

So yeah, if the NX improves upon that I'll be happy

I think I'm going to skip the regular small green Yarn Yoshi and get the mega.
The temptation to get the Animal Crossing Amiibo though.

The Yarn Yoshi are so cute! I got to Best Buy 3 minutes after opening and they had 1 pink left and 3 blue left so I got both. Though I think the demand for them is really low. My target still had a bunch. The price for Mega Yarn Yoshi is part of why I'm probably not going to get it.
The AC ones I'm struggling to avoid the temptation too. The fact that the Mewtwo preorder at Walmart was sold out in 30 minutes and the AC ones are still up makes me think beyond the SSB line, no one really cares about amiibo lol

I would kill for a console based Pokemon game.

Mewtwo is the only one I have preordered. The AC amiibo are still up.

Because they want you to play it everywhere or something like that.
Which is a concept that only really makes sense in Japan (since they take their handhelds with them) and since that is their #1 market they'll continue to do that.

I think so too. The 3Ds is pretty much on its last legs and well we all know the state of the Wii U.
