Did anybody watched lords of Salem yesterday??? I guess it was a limited release since it was only in like 6 movie theaters in dallas. Closest one was like 25 min away :/

Were all pretty excited for it. it looks like it could be one of the best horror movies of the last few years

The Purge is a horror movie though some may say it's a psychological thriller.

I just watched A Haunted House. Of course I didn't expect much but I still thought it was pretty funny. Some jokes were a bit cringey but it was a good movie for what it was it looked a lot better than Scary Movie 5.

The part where Kisha is possessed for the first time and dances and then slaps Malcolm was just and the gay psychic was hilarious

For the first half of the trailer it looks like one, but the second makes it look like a slasher.

The build-up was just okay, but the last fifteen minutes were incredible. I didn't see the twist coming until literally five seconds before it happened. And then the last two minutes with them driving away were very well done!

Some of the supporting actors though... Jake... Marlin... terrible.

Mandy Lane was the BEST character. Her or Chloe. I mostly love the movie because of the both of them.

Finally watching Amusement


The beginning was pretty good I thought. I'm up to where we meet Tabitha so I'm really just waiting for it to get bad now based in all your reviews on it

Edit: I think I'm gonna be the only one on here who didn't think it was absolute crap

It certainly isn't anything remarkable but it wasn't nearly as bad as you guys made me think it would be, which may be why I sort of like it

For me:

The grudge 2& 3 >>>>> The grudge
The ring 2 > the ring
I still know what you did last summer >= I know what you did last summer (The second one has a SLIGHT edge)

So i watched 3 movies over the weekend.

Sorority Row was pretty good. Some great one liners and overall very entertaining. But it didn't feel like a horror movies at all. Much rather like a comedy with some blood.And the last 20 minutes were't that amazing either. But overall a good watch and I liked that I didn't guess the killer correctly(because I usually do) so that was good.

The hills run red
I was actually surprised that it's a pretty good backwood slasher (it looked kinda cheap)
It wad actually pretty gripping and the characters are relatable(at least some).

Rec 3 was absolute trash
The first one was amazing and the second was so good too.
But what the **** were they aiming for.
Those stupid comedy elements they tried to bring in and the tacky effects and the **** ending.
Just trash I hope they don't make a fourth one.
