it's ridiculous how easy it is to evolve into azumarill yet it's a pain to get azurill's happiness full to evolve it into a marill

You guys should give your Pokemon Soothe Bell, you can find it in Nimbasa City. Then on Join Avenue, go to the Gym and Barber Shop, those will definitely boost their happiness (unless you're just starting your game). Proteins, Calcium, Zinc, and other vitamins will also help boost their happiness, don't give them (bitter) berries though (you can feed them EV berries).

I'm not even past the first gym, I'm just running like a madman until I can evolve her + my Riolu. I mean, Azurill's so f*cking weak I couldn't even train on lv2 Lillipups

With a Soothe Bell you can evolve it in like 30 minutes of just biking, but I don't want to wait so long until I reach those cities to get a bike and Soothe Bell so I could evolve my Azurill. I dumped my starter and just want to use Azumarill and Lucario from the Pokémon in the early-game to beat Cheren and the rock chick ha @ss

The azurill one shouldn't take long to evolve, I didn't even know it evolves through Happiness....I thought there was a glitch in my game when my Azurill evolved into Azumarill right after it evolved into a Marill.

Yes you can, surprisingly enough it was the first pokemon I encountered when I entered the cave....

I've found tons of them while training my Riolu there at ~11pm, but as far as I know there shouldn't be a difference between day/night. The funny thing is that I only found 1 Mareep vs 10+ Riolus

Yes but it only has 2% encounter rate

If you have a Pokemon at level 31, put it in lead position and use Repel. It should be way easier to encounter one that way.

Same trick here. It's really rare (5% encounter rate ). If you have a Pokemon at Level 7, put it in lead, and use repel and run around. It's way easier to find a Riolu that way.

Just wait til seaside cave. When you first go there you'll only be able to run around like six squares. If you put a level 36/37 Pokemon at the front of your party and use repel you should only find Tynamos. Get that ho up to 44 for thunderbolt and t stone.
