And what exactly is the point of that. It's just plain, blank stupid. It's 2013, not 1961 anymore. No one is here for that. The whole point of any project is to build hype that will eventually convert to sales. What Beyoncé is doing is the opposite. Fans are getting fed up. And it's not like we didn't have some kind of a timeline. The album was supposed to be out in 1st quarter, remember that GQ article that said "as early as April..." so it's not like she didn't want us to know in the very beginning.

I get all that, but like I said, I think she really wants to make it a surprise. It's obvious she was going to do something earlier this year with all that promo, but she decided against it, much like she could decide not to talk about it. I get the desire for info, I want it too. But I just think getting mad isn't going to do anything.

Exactly!!! I know some people say, well she didn't exactly say that in the interview. But knowing the type of artist Beyoncé is, she probably had that article read 10-20 times before approving it.

I wasn't saying she had a master plan of secrecy all along, I was saying that it's obvious now that she doesn't want anyone to know when she's releasing until she's ready to reveal it.

If you thought "As early as April" meant in April, then you were fooling yourself. You let yourself make it be something that it wasn't. I know I did. I was very confident it was coming out in April. But it didn't.

Now I could either sit around complaining or I could just trust that it will come eventually and try to be patient. What is it I want out of this? New music. Will anger make this happen or will it make me bitter when the music eventually comes so that I can't even enjoy it as I would have?

At least we've had Grown Woman, Standing on the Sun, Bow Down/I Been On, Turnt, Nuclear, You've Changed, Back to Black, Rise Up, Part II, magazine covers, Epic, Life is But a Dream, The Super Bowl, Chime for Change, and The Mrs Carter Show World Tour this year. Let's be a little thankful for that at least.

It has nothing to do with "quick lil singles". Beyonce & DC3 use to spit out singles like crazy, this is the same woman that did an album in 2 weeks, DC albums 3 weeks to a month. What Beyonce did was misleading. She needs a manager badly.
