the difference is .. The former top the chart for a very long time and having amazing longetivity (21 weeks on top 10 with PRA only)
Dev is still heading towards her first successful solo single. So we will see.
As a new artist, normally she won't get much hate; as time goes on and she gets more success, she will start to be hated (like Gaga)
