BTI was still a top 15 hit. And considering her extreme condition at the time and the fact that it had no promo it did great for a 3rd single, and Womanizer was her comeback single it would've smashed regardless. As for 3 after radar, it had poor longevity here (even worse than TTWE which peaked at #21) and didn't do much.
And Scream & Shout isn't her song, this doesn't apply to the rest of the world but Will.i.am could've included any random female singer on it and it would've still smashed here. He's become really big here the past 2 years (5 consecutive top 5 singles in a row) while she hasn't had a big solo hit here since Womanizer, S&S helped her put her back on the map here again so the last thing we need is another flop single that turns the GP/radio off of her.
if I'm not wrong, it sold almost 300K there
