A lot of people don't pay attention to the credits, but also a lot of people do including myself. Especially on this show, I love the opening credits, the music, and imagery is quite full on.

No pics at Gaga's parties, she says the same on tour recently, enjoy the moment, don't live for the photo etc. I respect that.
She was credited as Lady Gaga in Sin City, and Machete Kills if she isn't credited as Lady Gaga, then what are they actually thinking (Gaga included) people who sit down and watch the opening credits who have no outside knowledge of Gaga will know that Gaga is actually Stefani, and if so, it'll look like she isn't credited at all, which is pathetic.
