Okay good. So in your expert opinion, do you estimate that the real release can be out by the end of March?
Not saying Athens (or whoever is in charge) is ready to implement it here, but I want some guesstimate of when this is all ready so the need for "release candidates" will be redundant and unnecessary

I think a March release is completely within the realm of possibility. It may not even be late March, we
could be looking at mid-March. As I said, there are very few open bugs in the tracker right now and none of them are critical. Once the bug count starts to dwindle like this, and the only real errors are cosmetic, you just about have yourself a finished product. All those months of pushing back the release date to put in extra work and doing extended betas is really going to pay off here. There isn't anything major (as far as I can tell) that needs to be rehashed, since most things were perfected in the earlier stage. Plus, the IP staff has been really on-top of things lately and fixing a lot of stuff the moment they pop up.
That's just for IPS, though. I'm not sure how far along Athens and his team has gone with the pre-release versions of the product, if any, or how many beta phases they will have to go through before release of "new ATRL".
