Born To Die is exactly what I needed to fully stan for Lana and to finally put a temporary stop to the shaky relationship that I have with Gaga's current career choices.

OK, I have to admit. She does redeem herself in "Summertime Sadness" and "Lucky Ones". Those two were the ones I liked the most. Did she write them? Do you guys know any writing credits? The melodies in those two are really good.
Wow two songs are moderate Off to the Races and DMT and the rest pure snooze fests. I have never skipped so many songs in one album since I bought a rap album ten years ago. You guys are seriously something else

She writes all of her own lyrics; as for the music itself, she is involved with production but is not the main producer.
This album is everything I ever wanted from her. I absolutely love it.
I thought I would be disappointed with National Anthem this way, but I'm getting used to this new production (I still want that guitar back for the single version).
The tracks that we never heard previously are gorgeous. Lucky Ones is amazing.
I think that the best song on the album is Summertime Sadness.
