Kanye literally does his own beats, and when working in the studio with collaborators they come up with stuff. It's more friends working together, then 'I'll pay you $500K to sit here with me and help me on my album'. He even said on Twitter that during the last days of recording Drake came by and helped him with no strings attached.
+ most people who helped with the album (Chance the Rapper, Desiigner, etc) are nobodies who probably were offering help and begging him to let them do stuff.
& when you're a huge producer yourself, other producers generally are willing to reach out w/ no strings.

Lol at this. TLOP is STACKED with writers and producers. Kanye is notorious for how much "help" he gets. 90% of whom are there for a paycheck. Whether a label pays them or Kanye pays out of pocket they are not "helping" (or writing raps for him) for free. If Kanye doesn't want that cash recouped then that's on him I guess.

What iHype is saying is that most of the collaborators on TLOP are Kanye's friends doing the work essentially for free because a production credit on a Kanye West album is publicity that'll further their careers even more.
An example of this process is how Nicki just hopped on the Down in the DM remix for free as a favor to Yo Gotti, whereas she was paid to remix Sugar by Maroon 5.
The Hip-Hop world and the Pop world are not the same when it comes to stuff like that.

Why would I need a tax return to know his album made no money b/c it costs less than pennies to stream. Do you think all the profit goes to the artist? TLC being bankrupt has nothing to do w/ how much money their label made off the album (more than BJ).
