There's nothing else though!
It's very weird not to find any information about a movie that is about to start filming, which is why I think it's this one.
Even the getaway had a couple of internet pages to it's name.

Well then, it looks kinda good.
DEATH at her not even mentioning it ONCE.
Atleast Getaway had a news article a week before.
It's just... They better hurry the hell up before she's done so many "mature indie" roles that a teen film like 13RW would be considered a step back.
That's what I think she's thinking right now. Maybe when she was still in her Disney days, it would have worked out but now, I mean compared to SB for ex., the movie adaptation won't really be ~edgy~ or "grown up". Cause I mean really...if they were serious about it they'd be making movements. But they haven't and it's been like this for years.
I'm reading some reviews on the book. People are saying it's hilariously funny. Oh and I don't think Selena would be the major lead role because the book is about a boy. Maybe she's just a supporting actress. Or she'd play Nina who's supposed to have the hottest body in the school which is why she's gaining the weight.
I FIGURED IT OUT YA'LL
Ric Browde was not always a writer. He started his career off as a producer of rock music. He includes the bands Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts to his credits. Which is probably why his first book is about the same subject.
While I'm dead... Feed the Dog is based loosely on Browde's life in a small town in America in 1975. I have to say loosely because if it were all true there would be a few policemen wanting to talk to Mr Browde and maybe a few of those nice people from the Mafia.
Ric's mother has just tried to kill herself and left several notes for friends and neighbours including one that read "While I'm dead...Feed the Dog." Which the local police department find highly amusing. Ric starts milking the sympathy for all it is worth and ends up getting back stage tickets for a David Bowie concert, where a grateful groupie helps Ric lose his virginity. Although happy at this, he would have been happier if he's have been shagging Nina, the girl with the best body in the school.
Now that is where the story could have started to lose its appeal. But due to a quirk of fate, including two dead Latin teachers, a crash involving a car full of nuns, Ric somehow becomes best friends with a Mafia boss. Ric doesn't join the Mafia, but it doesn't stop him letting everyone think he has. In fact he will do everything he can in his power to make it sound true, even down to getting his father locked up for being the head of a Mafia family. If it means getting to sleep with Nina, he'd sell his own sisters body.
Which he does.
This book is full of lying, deceit, bags full of money, naked pictures of a certain school girl, Mafia murders, dead Latin teachers, riots at cinemas, numerous efforts at getting laid. And a band called Suckerpunch.
Once you have got past all the Americanisms in this book you'll find While I'm Dead... Feed the Dog well worth reading.

I'm sure the author said they weren't going to really show~ that part. They want the rating to be PG-13(for young fans). They''' probably give the idea that it's happening or going to happen but it probably won't be shown. But I mean, she's in charge of this thing (to an extent I'm sure) so you know..she could start something. It doesn't have to be filming or anything. Maybe just castings/readings and what not. Idk if they have a script drafted. She doesn't talk about it anymore

The fact that they're starting to film it and no one has reported about it worries me.
It's a pre production indie so that's not surprising but if it is attached to that producer* then I'm more confident. He's made some good movies and is working on some interesting ones right now.
