Every other era, they were evenly matched.
ITZ & DIL sold the same amount WW (DIL sold more albums in the US and they both sold the same amount WW), ITZ sold more singles WW.
IASF was more successful, no doubt but comparing the promo schedules of both, of course she'll outsell her. And in the end, the Circus Tour still grossed more with waaay less dates.
4 outsold Femme Fatale in the US by double but sold almost about the same amount WW and FF had more successful singles with a terrible promo schedule (y'all saw this at the time and even make fun of her till date).
So, the only time she has completely outsold her is during the BJ - St era.

They just
blatantly lie.

It's so hilarious.
Any way you slice it, Bey has done better since going solo.
ITZ 8m WW vs DIL 10m WW albums
Singles: ITZ - 8.9 m WW vs DIL 10.3 million
Blackout 2.7m WW vs. B'Day 6.2m WW
Singles: Blackout - 7.7m WW vs B'Day 12.7m WW
Circus 4m WW vs. IASF 7.9m WW
Singles: Circus 16.2m vs. IASF 49.6m
"promo" is the alleged reason for this one.

K.
Femme Fatale 1.9m WW vs 4 3.2m WW
Singles: Femme Fatale 16.6m vs 4 14.5
Britney Jean 650k WW vs. BEYONCÉ 4.0m WW
Singles: BJ 2.4m WW vs BEYONCÉ 8.65m WW
Since 2003 Bey has sold 16.146m albums outside of the US; Britney has sold 11.3.

I love the ridiculous ways they attempt to discredit and diminish Bey's accomplishments. The nonsensical parameters they draw up are just laughable like excluding the US from WW stats. And then on top of that, the refusal to acknowledge that Bey sells more OUTSIDE of the US than their beloved "GLOBAL!!!!11!" girls that can't keep up with her IN the US as well.
Sorry the thread was closed and I'm bored, but they STAY trying it with Bey. The insecurity

but I guess when numbers are really the only thing you have for a legacy that's what happens.
