Also, if a character in something IS racist, it's almost as if modern day tumblr pack mentality will label the SHOW as racist (same with homophobic/transphobic characters) instead of just acknowledging that there is an ignorant character. Characters personalities don't reflect that of the production team, they are characters in a story that are being written to have their own personalities.
Your first point is accurate too, but this is really all that needs to be said. Unless the show is backing their offensive beliefs, it's fine. I can understand if people dislike offensive humor (I like it as long as it's funny), but that doesn't mean the show hates black people and I don't see them complaining about the "white girls" jokes or LGBT jokes. You can't just pick one to offended by
I could get it more if the people complaining about racist humor were talking characters like Denise (who's basically every black female stereotype rolled into one), but complaining about Chanel being a racist? Really? It's not like she's being portrayed in a positive light.
Ohh i didn't know it was supposed to be satire, i get it then
Though i still hope and expect that the show will bring it up again and send a message? That racism and homophobia shouldn't be ok and so on.
The only characters who are acting racist and homophobic are the Chanels, who are a bunch of selfish, unlikeable bitches with zero redeeming qualities. I think it's pretty obvious racism and homophobia are not being portrayed in a positive light. In fact, in the pilot alone they've been called out on it. Multiple times.
If you've got problems with race or LGBT jokes, don't watch the show. We all know show is full of dark comedy and if you don't like it, don't watch it, simple as that.

The same people who think like that, are probably the same people who wtach orange is the new black which alot of characters play their own stereotype

Did they try to make the Chanels unlikable? because as of what I've seen people love the Chanels way better than the good characters nnn

It's that they're terrible people.
Like, everyone knows they're bad people. They're racist, homophobic, size-shaming and absolutely terrible, but we still love them because of how funny their ruthlessness is. They don't have to be good people for us to like them, and I think that's the part of the point of the show.

Uh, yes. The reason people like the Chanels is because they're entertainingly bitchy (Oberlin and 5) or deadpan bitchy/earmuff mystery (#3). No one likes them as people

Basically this. Characters like the Chanels are popular for entertainment value despite being mega-bitches. That said, I do still think the survivors will have some sympathetic qualities.
People like the Chanels because they represent an ideal in wealth and social status, but what I've seen is in universal agreement that #1's offensive views are what make her good as a character and reprehensible as a person. The racism and homophobia was very intentional - it strongly colors exactly how horrible of a person she is, aside from being a stone cold bitch. You know immediately when you meet her from her "mammy" and "birthin' no babies" jokes that she's THAT kind of person.
The reason some of us kind of "stan" her is partially because of her boldness and confidence - she's easily Regina's heir apparent in attitude, if not her successor - but also because of how well the character is conveyed. We know that outwardly she's probably considerably racist and mildly homophobic, but we also know these are bad things for a human being to be and we know that it's a satirical representation of her "type" of person.
Read the Delta Gamma viral email that she was initially based on. That should put it into perspective for you - the real life girl was a hyperagressive queen bee type, and was rightfully pressured into resignation from her sorority. Chanel is meant to be an exaggerated version of the girl who comes across in that email.
Okay i take issue with that. There isn't constantly racism in fraternities and sororities. Are there some racist members in chapters around the US? Yes. But for the overall majority, sororities and fraternities are not racist. While they do tend to be mostly white, as my chapter is, there are still other members of many different backgrounds and walks of life. While my chapter is mostly white, we still have black, asian, indian, gay, poor members.
Quit taking a horror-comedy show with Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas so seriously. By constantly I meant in the media. Everyone needs to stop picking at straws to find something to complain about. Life doesn't always need to be so serious.
