Which is a better album 8701 or Confessions? I know this is debated a lot but I think its Confessions. It sold a lot but its also good quality. It's such a cohesive album.

I played 8701 and Confessions to death. Sometimes I think 8701 is better, but confessions is a classic so it's a tie for me.

Sometimes its equal for me. They have different tones and themes but 8701 has the classic U Got it Bad.

I have seen plenty of people in general prefer 8701 over the years, confessions was too hyped up for some. I got into usher with u make me wanna but 8701 is when I really started to follow him, then confessions I became a stan. These two albums force me in his fandom so it's hard to choose at times.

Yeah. Confessions is personal and 8701 is sort of like a fun grown up album. I think he has more classic songs on Confessions but 8701 gave him his own image.
