When I knew this show was going to be brought to the us I was expecting real stars with potential. This show is not supposed to be for the beat voice but the one that can sing, perform and entertain. Do I see all those qualities on any of these hoes? No. I see amazing talent bit I don't see performers /entertainers.
The one that truly has star quality is astro. Hands down to that kid. He is a beast on the stage.
Stereo hoggz were amazing but they never bothered to showcase the other Guy's talents. They were just backup dancers.
Melanie amazing voice but dyall really c that chick entertaining? Jordin sparks anyone? No personality at all. Bland as dog ****.

Rene: he had amazing potential on the audition looks, voice, quality..idk what happened tbh.
They're good tho but they would fit betta in AI. They don't really separate the x factor with AI with these contestants.

The difference with both versions is that in the UK, the contestants are more marketable & commercial and the production is better and more entertaining. In the US, the contestants may be more talented, but there isn't a clear slot for them in Pop, with the exception of a couple.

Marcus Canty is the only person on the show that i'm rooting for. He has a great voice and is an amazing performer with a stage presence that is remarkable. He also has a great look that I think would resonate well in the r&b market and with the right material he probably has a chance to crossover.

Melanie and Drew have great voices. But they are boring as ****! They have no personalities. I cant see them being huge stars. And all of Drews performances seem the same. She sings every song the same way... bland and boring.
