Dumb or not but people are more hyped about Go than sun and moon.



The first time in history a spin off is gaining more traction than a main series game.



But then again, it could become the main series game in the future. (since handheld is dying and mobile is booming, and they start incorporating rpg elements to GO)

We know exactly 0 things about Sun/Moon except their titles, and Pokemon Go uses a huge gimmick that appeals to the casuals (that'll probably end up disappointing/trash in the end) so.

It's has become a "thing" how do I say it? A third pillar.. Like how spin offs are different from the main series and TCG is another speparate thing.

It's become its own "thing" with its own community. (The showdown/smogon community, the shiny hunters, the TCG players, etc)



All of that, and it's not even out yet.
