Yeah, we use cm for that here. For everything actually. The metric system is the norm here, so no inches, miles, foot,...
I think this goes for most of Europe

I only learned that some other countries use inches for that when I joined forums

Seems like that's the case in English speaking countries. Not in flawless Europe

How do you measure it then? In cm and then convert it to inches? Like just use cm, it's way easier if you use it for everything
