As weak as WINNER's songs are at slaying people...Empty live with those harmonies and those high notes and Taehyun whistle singing that do do do do do at the end without messing up will put them on a high level of shocking people. I don't know anyone off that top of my head who can sing that song other than WINNER at the moment.
Eww is that even real? Do people stan for this? So shameless, and the attempt at English at the start is embarrassing.
But slay Gee, its impact
Poor Yookyung, speaking English was the only thing she was 'good' at and she couldn't even do it properly.
But not tew much on Slay Pink sis, they went through an awkward SNSD-clone phase when they first debuted (and still kinda do though not so much) but they've since changed and served some bops.
Warning for those still watching Its okay that's love. The first few minutes of today's episode are rough to get through. Domestic violence is never fun to watch.

Meh, I might have checked them out if I had space to stan for another girl group, but Red Velvet just filled that position.
Plus the SNSD cloning is off-putting. Why didn't Cube just find a "proper" English speaker, I mean even Hyoyeon can do a better job than that.
That's the problem I have with English lines in K-Pop it's too overused and "wannabe" ish and most of it never makes sense. It only works when the group has fluent speakers who can pull it off.
Girl those EXO fangirls are a mess they are about 14-17, and still waiting for them at their hotel at midnight, where are them parents
When I was like 15 I went out and about places in town without my parents supervision, it's not hard for them to lie about their whereabouts to their parents. It's the same with every artist.

!!! It was super tough for them at first because they were going for the cutesy concept but SNSD kinda had a monopoly on that market at the time. APink have blossomed into their own kind of girl group though and they pretty much own the cutesy concept now, especially after NoNoNo.
I'm typically all for everyone in a group getting a shot at singing some English if there is any, but it somewhat irks me when there's a very clear awkward English word/phrase and they get someone who isn't a brilliant English speaker to sing it. It's obviously a different situation in a group when none of them are brilliant singers, but I was listening to SNSD's indestructible, and why get Taeyeon to sing "invisible", when it's clearly awkward for her to pronounce. Tiffany and Jessica are there for that reason.

True, tho, I went to Spain with some friends, I was 16, they thought I was at some friends house for the week...

I guess they do it for line distribution, but with Tiffany singing all the lines these days, I'm surprised she didn't get that line as well.
It's worse in Do The Catwalk. They have Jessica do the intro "are you ready to walk?" but they gave Yuri the ending one and it comes out like "ARRYU READY DU WARRK". Why didn't they just let Jessica do both.
Same for "Sometimes you GOTTA BE BOLD. JUSS RUCK DA WORLD", Wendy should have done that line.
Newsflash: It's Asian music. They don't care about imperfect pronunciation of the English language

Slay Pink, their Gee, even down to the choreo and the useless English at the start. It's a bop so I ain't mad.
I couldn't even deal with 30 seconds of that
The monotone "singing"
The vague bored looks
The basic Gee rip off
Exactly what I imagine A Pink to be

Sounds like someone needs a to join the Inner Circle
