Kill the Lights was always low key dated on arrival which is odd considering how fresh his productions on Blackout were.

Circus being listed below Oops is a stretch but below BOMT (assuming BJ is 8th)

Sonically pop seemed to change so much in 07-08 but Blackout was still so fresh in 08 (still is today) so it is weird how much his productions on Circus were lacking compared to Blackout. I guess less time and less input on the final product might have contributed? I always thought Britney sounded fierce in KTL tho

2008 and 2009 was like another repeak for her here. The hype was insane. Everybody loved Circus and If U Seek Amy but the media destroyed her career.

It was proof to them that she lip-syncs and everybody hated her for that and she was parodied for weeks after it happened.

lipsyncing on a talent show based on singing was a bad idea.

though most of it probably stemmed from the fact that many hadn't seen Britney perform since the ITZ era, while the performance wasn't bad, it pales in comparison.

The UK has always preferred "vocalists". That's why Beyonce is so big and Xtina's Stripped era was huge here. Her UK stats aren't bad at all though

Kylie Minogue has a weak voice and she's like the 3rd best selling female in the UK. They just hate her for some sick and twisted reason!
