Christ, I don't know why I keep giving musicals a chance... I always hate 97% of them.
And the story...
And all of the useless characters...
And that awful "Agony" song and performance...
And Johnny Depp's pedophilia undertones...
And the fact that the story came to a screeching halt after all the items were found...
Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt were the only two people that made
me stay with the film to the end. The slow, agonizing end.
P.S. I want Anna Kendrick dead.

Mte. I just watched it, and I already forgot about what happened during the vast majority of it. Giving me "Les Mis" vibes with all of the unnecessary singing clogging up 75% of the damn thing.
I would've much preferred it conclude at that mid-way point where everyone gets the cliched "happily ever after" ending instead of tricking the audience and making it go on for an unwanted 40 minutes longer, only for it to end on a really sour and depressing note.
EDIT: And why the hell was Channing Tatum in the movie at all? He literally disappeared 20 minutes into the damn thing never to be seen again, and there was no reason at all for him to be in it other than for shameless eye candy.
