"Secret Witness" Bodyguard Sells Story to Tabloids & TV Shows
24th September 2007
The 'secret witness' in the Britney Spears and Kevin Federline custody battle, her former bodyguard of two months, Tony Barretto, has sold his story to UK tabloid, "News Of The World," with reprint permission for "The Daily Mail," and has appeared on "The Today Show" in America, accompanied by his lawyer. Barretto, who was reportedly fired for being suspected of selling stories to the press, alleges he witnessed Britney Spears taking drugs on two separate occasions; once in a club booth & again in a closed off bathroom, being forced to add that he had "never seen her use drugs in the presence of her children." The allegations in the "News Of The World" go further, alleging that she has a spending problem, has little consideration for her staff, lets her bodyguards look after her children, walks around naked, and 'burps and farts a lot', also listing a set of 'requirements' that must be adhered to, in order to work for her. The article was accompanied by private pictures of Britney, and is set to have earned Barretto, who claims he is doing this for her children's sake, and for her own and her fans' benefit, so she will 'seek the help she needs', over £250,000.
