Oh my god y'all so I just got back from San Diego and the show!! This is a long story, worth sharing (I already posted it on KCE so I'll just share it here, this is what happened to me)
Ok, so I was sooo excited for the show, was singing KC/Maroon 5 songs all day. Me and my sister hit the road at 4 PM. Now I live in Tijuana, so we have to cross the border......it was a 4 and half hour queue. Say what? 4 and 1/2 hours long!! I was literally dying and checkin' twitter like crazy, super upset and stressed out that i was probably gonna miss KC.
By the time we crossed the border and were in San Diego, about 5 songs of Kelly's set had passed. We finally arrived at the venue, and we RAN to Will Call where they had our tickets, by this time we could hear "Mr Know it All/Miss Independent" outside. We got the tickets and RAN inside to the venue, and went to our seats, just in time for the Encore.
It was only 2 songs I got to see, but let me tell you something, KC DELIVERED those TWO songs that I saw (PLU & SUBG), I was screaming and singing along, I jumped, like I was all #KellyFanMode! and her vocals were spot on. One of my sister's friends who also attended the show and saw most of her set told us she was the best part of the entire tour, and that she should've closed instead of Adam (although he criticized her fabulous glam black dress lol)
Anyway, so Kelly's set is over and I'm enjoying Maroon 5's set, and in comes Moves Like Jagger. Now, for this, Rozzi Crane appeared on stage to sing "Wake Up Call" with Adam, so all i could think of was "Please let Kelly appear for MLJ, Please!!"
By the second chorus just before Christina's part, I see all these guys with dresses on, and I see one girl wearing Kelly's green/blue sparkly dress, so I'm like "Wait a minute?" is it her? OMG IT'S KELLY!!!!
I went all nuts literally!! i was like "YES GIRL SING IT!!" Like angels appeared and she was taking me to church! lol And I absolutely loved the little dance she did, I think she even twerked lol she was amazing!
So the show ended, and my sister and I decided to put in Kelly songs....in the order of the set list from this tour on account of us missing 9 of the 12 songs But still, it was a fantastic night, and I got to see Kelly live again, which was great! I'll try to share some photos with y'all later
Aww Joe I'm so sorry you missed most of Kelly's set.
I know I was really upset on the way to the venue, I wanted to hear the Aretha cover LIVE, like I already had it pictured I was gonna be the only one from my section standing up and going to church lol

Trust me I was pretty sad at first, but I think because I saw her just last year in SD, it was less upsetting, but it was still sad

OMG that did it for me, when I saw her singing MLJ, I was like YES!!! I always wanted her to sing that with Adam, so it was great she finally got to on the show I went to, and she was fierce!
Am I the only one who decided not to go to M5 concert after hearing Adam's singing voice?
You know I'm with ya on that one. I like Adam, and M5 is one of my favorite bands of all time, but the guy couldn't get it together. I do like however how he rearranges his vocals and sometimes they are cool, but it's like the high notes *dead* it sounds bad sometimes. But because i also knew every song I didn't care lol

no I left home early actually compared to other concerts I went to in SD, the thing is though we did 4 hours to cross the border. That never happened before. The longest I've waited on queue was 3 hours. Say 3 hours we arrived just in time at like 7:30 to see Kelly perform (she started performing at 8), but we had to wait 1 hour more

Omg If I was you I will panic and angry to another (but we know it makes no sense). Because the queue was long and the afraid feeling can't see the Queen. But lucky you! You can see Kelly slay MLJ

@ joe: I feel sorry for you that you missed Kelly's set. But at least you saw the premiere Kelly's MLJ.
Kelly slayed hard the vocals on MLJ! And her band member in dresses! That is my favourite thing of the tour.
EDIT: Adam's voice ain't good live. I didn't know if it is Adam singing or just some fans screaming. Maybe just because I don't know his voice well, dunno.
EDIT 2: I know why the guys were in dresses! This is the concept of Kelly's new music video! Go and get that Xmas controversy, Kelly!
But so awesome you got to see Kelly finally sing with Adam tonight!
