I don't see the point in a break. She has a tour coming up and she has to promote it/the album still if she wants results. And they're not going to waste the space trip promo on not having material out.
Plus, her career is in a vulnerable state. Running away won't help - she has to combat it. As long as she backs off in the build up of the new album.
Ideally she'll push AP for a while, maybe release a new video now and then, but ultimately step back until the new album is ready in Q3/4.

It would take a LOT to make her go broke. She's amassed a crazy amount of money in 5 years (like $200 million, no?), and doesn't seem to actually spend much. Whilst she does inject her own money into her career - it's not like there isn't already a budget for tour, videos and performances from the label.
She likely only went "broke" at the start of TMB because royalties etc. are paid quarterly (IIRC) rather than pay-as-they-buy and her first cheques will have gone to covering costs/paying back the label.
