Hilarious to see all the folks tripping over one another to drag Ciara just because it's trendy to do so right now when in fact she's actually winning in general: millions in the bank, acclaimed tour, moderate hit single, beautiful and healthy baby, hot and successful new man, more gorgeous every year, progressing vocally, happier than ever, still slays the stage while most of her contemporaries can't anymore or never could... I could go on but the truth is that Queen is doing fine, thank you.

I honestly expected Pitchfork to either drag or ignore Jackie because they love Future and mostly snub pure pop, but their review is actually not that bad:

I have some hand on experience with how they hire people so I can tell you right away usually it's NOT the best who gets hired. it's such a shame tho. and it's REALLY annoying because those who in charge can't even do the easiest thing which is LEARNING from the best teams out there like Taylor's or Bey's teams. many things could be easily done without even causing a chunk of money and yet they can't even bring their ass to do.

I guarantee the music industry will not struggle this badly if they can start with hiring the right interns. music business is tough but the same old tricks to be big always remain - yet no one seems to be aware of that.

Also i think BMF could be a hit on Urban stations. It knocks hard,the beat is crazy asf. also love how the tempo changes. They'd have to bleep out the MF part obviously,but people would still know what she was saying,and the hook is catchy and addictive,especially if you sing it like you mean it.

I can see girls turnin up when this come on in the club,getting ratchet,twerking,breaking bottles over each other heads and fighting in the parking lot

(I really know girls like this ..I know sad right?)


Then she should release THIMF to Pop,because anything dance related with Pitbulls ass on the track usually gets pretty good airplay,and seeing how everyone reacted to Missy at Superbowl, it seems that she is a greatly missed and a nostalgic act.

DLWML Is a good pop friendly song and has a infectious breathy hook.Also is very Michael/Janet sounding.

I'm not mad at "I Bet" being the lead because it's a cute song, although I will say it was stupid of her to release that song and then do a bunch of interviews and be all mute in regards to her and Future's breakup. On a recent interview she said she planned to have her son. Why would you plan to have a baby in the middle of a new era, suppose to be the era that you redeem yourself? Overdose was suppose to bring her back to pop radio then "livin it up" so her next album she could've did the clear channel ,itunes banner first single deal like the major girls...

to be fair even if he wasn't planned (not saying he wasn't) i can't imagine a mother publicly stating her child was an accident
