“That project is a lot closer than anyone realized, including her own record label,” Dash Radio‘s DJ Skee revealed. “Last weekend in New York City, [Rihanna] took a couple Def Jam executives to a top secret location and played ten new records. So, that means she’s trying to put out a project to capitalize off the fourth quarter craziness.”

What if she just drops like a 5-track EP and releases 1 (max 2) singles before Home? That will hold people over before Home and the conceptual album and would not require an extensive promotional campaign. Also, it would quench our thirst and the GP's. If she has indeed some tracks recorded already (which makes sense considering she's supposedly been working on several tracks for some time now), she could just drop some soon.
i don't believe this guy TBH. but i think that R8 rumors are swirling around the industry, hence why all these people are saying different things. i wonder if rih's team is purposefully trying to confuse people or if people are just talking amongst themselves.
I think Rih and her team are publicly being secretive for a reason but I also think people are openly doing interviews about the album cause of behind the scenes talk/ submission dates and their curious themselves.
Def Jam is just distributing the album, she's not on the label tho. Like Jay Z MCHG was released under RocNation as his label but disturbed through Def Jam. It goes back to that whole UMG thing
