because she plays that role incredibly well, she's brought some of the best story lines along with her.

Coven was cute because of how much dragging and slayage occured. It was a chance for everyone to be as cute and campy as possible - even if it were detrimental to the entire plot. And the plot is kind of in shambles at this point.
He should be sure to look to Asylum this next season. It at least had a plot and had successfully written characters like Sister Jude and Lana Winters.

All 3 of the seasons have been better than most entire series on tv right now, but Coven has been my least favorite out of Murder House and Asylum. It's been to sloppy and confusing

Okay, so Cordelia didn't have to do that to her eyes since Fiona mentioned that a witch's power never leaves?

Question. It's been mentioned that there are other covens in other places around the country. Is the Supreme the Supreme of all the witches of the world or does each coven have their own? If it's the first then how come only witches from that coven are being considered to be the next Supreme?

I am re-watching the episode on DVR. I'm looking for clues and tiny details.

Here are the clues I caught thus far that point towards the next season being about Communism and Nuclear warfare.
- In Episode 11 "Protect The Coven", when sitting down to talk with Marie and Fiona, Renard says; "Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to rid the State Department of Communists."
- In the opening of Episode 12 "Go To Hell", when Fiona is talking to Queenie she says "So rest up, Little girl. Take your vitamin B12's." Fiona said B12 with a plural which is obviously incorrect, thus eluding to the B12 Fighter Jets. She also talks about them always putting her in Seat A1, which is another clue to planes.
- When Cordelia goes to the Axeman's Apartment in "Go To Hell", she shows him the vision of Fiona leaving him and breaking their promise. It shows a quick glimpse of her passport which reads Vandenheuvel Goode instead of Fiona Goode. William Van Denheuvel was a former Author, Attorney and former Diplomat who later served in the US Embassy.
Put that together with the fact that Ryan said it takes place in the year 1950, and also said to look out for main events that happened in that year; (Truman ordering the production of the Hydrogen bombs, Communists being outed left and right and Soviet spies being caught on US soil), I think its pretty clear what they're hinting at.

From my understanding the girls are part of the Salem descendants coven and only the supreme comes their coven.

I need Jessica, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Frances Conroy, Angela Bassett, Emma Roberts and Gabourey Sidibe to return next season. The rest can leave.

Not sure if I'm sold on communism as a solid theme for the next season...they'd have to add some sort of supernatural element to it. Zombies?

In a future season, I want Evan to play a detective type character
The kind of classic, 1950s mystery/film noir character that wears a hat and a trench
and has his scenes narrated with journal entries
He would be investigating whatever the main plot is (carnival, killers, alien, etc.)
I don't want him to be a Lana Winters though.
He shouldn't be meek or naive.
He should have mystery and a tough exterior
& some kind of vice like a drinking problem or something haunting him from his past that's essential to the story, but isn't revealed until the end of the season (kinda like Leo's character in Shutter Island).
I want there to be a big twist as well

Evan is as essential to this series as Jessica is for me
He didn't have much of a role this season, but I'd be sad to see him go
Taissa has been given the same basic, one-dimensional character twice already,
so I woulnd't really miss her (though, it's the writing I blame, not her)

Wait a minute, what's the point of Misty beating Madison up if Madison can't feel **** after she came back from the dead, she was just tossed around and that's it.

She just set some curtains on fire ONCE. Plus wouldn't it be a different situation if she herself is set on fire.

No, No, no. Madison can feel again in one of the episode's she ate something from Cordellia ingredients and it brought back her color and feelings. Before she looked as white as Marylin Manson.

She is shown to control it when Fiona asks her to light up her cigarette before cutting her throat.

Just found something that backs up the idea that Cordelia is the next Supreme.
